Fall 2025 Events on the Marlboro Campus

September 1, 2025

Throughout the fall, we are pleased to be welcoming people and programs that appreciate the natural beauty of the campus and whose focus is primarily the arts and education.

New and returning groups that are coming to the Marlboro campus in autumn 2025 include:

RiverJam Romp, featuring leaders in the New England traditional music and dance scene.
The North American Mycological Association’s annual foray, at which members meet to collect and identify mushrooms and other fungi and explore the biodiversity of our campus.
Feldenkrais First, a retreat featuring workshops and Awareness through Movement sessions for students and professionals.
The Folk Arts Center of New England’s international dance and music camp.
Boston States Fiddle Camp, bringing the best in Scottish and Cape Breton music and instruction.
• A creative convening of 50 Windham Country arts organizations that included a report from Vermont Arts Council Executive Director Susan Evans McLure and fruitful conversations about arts in the region.
Mountains & Music, a chamber music retreat sponsored by the Boston chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club.
• The Bridges Program at the Marlboro Institute of Emerson College.
Marlboro Studio School, with courses in felting, wearable art, jewelry, ceramics, and printmaking, and youth classes.

We’re pleased to be collaborating with a number of organizations on individual events also, including writing workshops, meditation retreats, various trainings, educational events, and more.

The Marlboro Music artist residency program also continues with free, on-campus community concerts by emerging chamber music ensembles, each of whom includes at least one Marlboro Music artist. Save the date for our first 2025-26 residency concerts, with the Phaidros String Quartet (Sunday, November 9 at 2 pm) and Trio Çava (Sunday, December 14 at 2 pm).

Thank you for your interest in activities on campus, and for helping to spread the word about opportunities here. For more information on campus programming and rentals, please contact Kalya Yannatos, Marlboro Music’s managing director, at 802-258-9211 or [email protected].
