Supporting Our Community
Marlboro Music manages this beautiful southeastern Vermont campus that has been our home since 1951. In operating the property, we are devoted to enhancing the cultural life of the region, to being an integral part of the community, and to supporting the people, businesses, and economy of the town, region, and state.
Our campus employees are locally based, we host community activities such as the Marlboro Nordic Ski Club and performances by local groups, and we utilize and support outstanding regional businesses and services (see below). We also attract large numbers of visitors for our chamber music performances and, from September through May, we invite other nonprofit arts, educational, and environmental organizations to convene and pursue their work on this hilltop campus.
A Strong Partnership: The Brattleboro Food Co-op
We are grateful for our vital partnership with the Brattleboro Food Co-op. The Co-op operates the central campus dining facility, where it provides healthy and locally-sourced meals for our tenant organizations, as well as resident musicians, staff, families, trustees, and friends of Marlboro Music.
